NFL fans have come to expect the best from their team over the years, but it was always a little bit different this year.
The Dallas Cowboys were already on the cusp of winning the Super Bowl before they won the Superbowl, and the team’s new star quarterback was going to have to do some things differently if he wanted to keep his job.
The first thing the new QB did was take a photo of himself at the Superdome and posted it on Instagram.
The next day, he tweeted a photo from his house that featured a fireplace decorating bowl and a gold wall decorating in the fireplace.
A photo of the gold wall and the fireplace decor had become so popular that he even signed a contract with a gold and red-themed candle company, but that’s when things took a drastic turn.
It wasn’t long before fans began posting photos of the bowl and the decorated fireplace on social media.
A tweet from a Dallas Cowboys fan quickly got the attention of a local television station.
The station quickly aired the story on their Facebook page and the news quickly spread around the NFL.
In just two weeks, the Dallas Cowboys had a gold decorated fireplace decorate their stadium, and it didn’t take long for that gold decorating to go viral.
Now, the team is planning to install a new decorating feature to celebrate Christmas at their home field.
“The Cowboys will be the first team to bring gold to the new stadium,” general manager Jerry Jones said in a statement.
“It is our hope that it will be a part of the festivities that will follow.
It is a celebration of the love of Christmas.”
The Dallas Morning News says that fans have already been tweeting their opinions about the new decor.
“This is the first time I’ve ever seen a bowl decorated with a fireplace.
#GoldenStairs,” one Twitter user wrote.
“I feel so sad for the poor guy who had to have the bowl decorated, but we have a good reason for it,” another said.
The gold decorated bowl is not the only new feature the Cowboys are planning to incorporate into the new home.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones also said that the team will have a new special gift shop and a new restaurant.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the first ever Christmas shopping and restaurant,” Jones said.
“Christmas will be on our mind at Cowboys Stadium and we will be open to any gift or food that fans would like to bring into our stadium.”
